2009 event now arranged - The Chatsworth Challenge Walk (20th June 2009)
The Three Peaks Challenge is once again set to walk the Chatsworth Challenge in 2009. The Three Peaks Challenge organisers are taking the walk to the peaks of Derbyshire for our twin distance event, with a slightly altered circuit organised for the 22 mile
walk, and the shorter walk also getting a slight facelift with an increase in length from 8 to 9 miles.
2009 Sponsorship Target : The total fund raised to date currently stands at just under £89,000, and this year the Organisers are looking to smash through the £100,000 barrier in dramatic stile to
take the aggregate fund total over the magical six figure sum. This means that we’re looking to everybody who takes part in our walks to make the extra effort to gain as much sponsored support as possible.
Help increase the numbers : We’re also trying to achieve a record number of walkers this year to mark the occasion, so please try to get your friends and family members to join us on the 20th June at Chatsworth to take part in the walk. And as a bonus... after two years of terrible weather on our walks (at the height of the great British Summer), we’re backing the odds and guaranteeing warm sunny weather !! Please try to be there with us.
