To: Website - While looking for some info I came across your website and would just like to say how much I enjoyed reading it. Having done a little bit of walking in the area, and realising that some of your walkers seemed to have done very little walking before, I think they did very well. It has even made me think about having a go..
To: Phil - Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. I actually found your site by accident. I was looking for information on the 'other' three Peaks event i.e. Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. Still, I was more than pleased to hear of your fund-raising efforts, especially for a disease which almost killed me and which I am now using every day to capacity to put it behind me. Keep up the good work - updating the website and driving the bus are absolutely vital to the overall effort!
To: Chris - Thanks for your comments. They were appreciated. However, I only do the website and drive the support bus, so I've passed your email onto Gerard who is the sole inspiration and organiser of the event. He's currently organising a similar walk for 2004, and he'll welcome your valued comments.
To: Website - I have just read your web page with details of your achievement in 2003, well done! As a T-cell Lymphoma and stem-cell transfer survivor (five years on) I applaud your efforts in raising the profile of cancer treatment, thank you.
To: Margaret - Thanks for your kind comments concerning the web site. Re the striking pose. We had originally considered editing out the photo in the interests of preserving a ladies' modesty, but then thought what the hell, and decided to post in on the world wide web. Just remember in future when Gerard has a camera in his hand not to bend over.

To: Phil - I have enjoyed reading this web site and reliving the day once again, if I had know Gerard was going to take a photo of my striking pose, well, maybe i would have gone behind the wall! Many thanks for all your effort in making this web site and enabling everybody who was involved to have something to remind them of that great day we all had, and the reason why we did it.

To: Website - I`m Monya Beutelspacher from Germany! Do you know that there`s a report/story in our English book on the Three Peaks Challenge? I couldn’t believe that it really exists, but now I know because I found this homepage! Sorry for my English. Monya
So, here we are, still in it’s infancy. Not quite the full recognised blogger format but we’re sure you get the idea. If you feel you wish to contribute to the ‘blog’ get on that PC and email your comments in. It could be comments, what you liked or disliked about the ‘Walks’, or your own story from your walk. If we feel it has a place on the weblog we’ll post it up there.
Email your comments to the Web Editor

What is a Blog ? (Short for Weblog).
The following description is taken from http://www.Blogger.com.
A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Private thoughts. Memos to the world. A blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them in all shapes and sizes, and there are no real rules. In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it. Or not.
